Reset your password (the fast way, <2 minutes)

1. Open the Daman Game login screen in your browser or app.
2. Tap “Forgot password?” below the password field.
3. Enter your registered mobile number. The platform sends an OTP via SMS.
4. Enter the OTP, set a new password (8+ characters, mix letters and numbers), confirm it. Done.

You can immediately log in with the new password. Old sessions stay active until they expire — if you suspect someone else accessed your account, log out from all devices via Settings → Security.

If the OTP doesn’t arrive

Most “forgot password” failures are actually OTP-delivery failures. Try these in order:

1. Wait 60 seconds, then tap “Resend OTP”. Most networks rate-limit the first send.
2. Check the SMS spam folder — some Android phones bury one-time codes there automatically.
3. Confirm your phone is not on DND for transactional SMS. Dial 1909 from the affected number to check / disable DND.
4. Switch to mobile data instead of Wi-Fi briefly — corporate Wi-Fi sometimes blocks gambling-domain SMS notifications routed via international gateways.
5. Try the request again from a fresh browser window (clears any auth-cookie clash).

If you no longer have access to your old number

This is the harder case. The platform binds your account to the number used at registration. Recovery requires KYC re-verification:

1. Submit a support ticket with subject “Number change — lost SIM”.
2. Attach a clear photo of your PAN card and one government photo ID (Aadhaar / driving licence / passport).
3. Include a brief written statement: registered name, approximate registration date, last 3 transactions you can remember.
4. Wait 48–72 hours. Support will send a verification SMS to your new number once they manually authorise the change.

Password security tips that matter

• Use a unique password for Daman — never reuse a password from another site.
